D Cherie is a product of Dreamfield's breeding- a daughter of G Amerato Sour who boasts the Sambor-Ruta cross, and sired by the French stallion *Volcano De Carrere.

On the track, Cherie showed great promise. Then in a freak accident coming off a morning jog at Retama Park, Cheri stumbled, cutting her flexor tendon. She retired and entered the Dreamfield broodmare band. She is passing on her beautiful athletic ability and determined spirit to her offspring.

D Querido is 3/4 brother to Callies Rapido who won his first out at Delaware Park and finished Top Ten in his first 25-mile endurance race. Querido's dam adds the highly revered French dam-line of Nevada II, and the stakes producing French sire- line, Djourman, to his Racing Hall of Fame Polish bloodlines.

Querido's race debut proved too slow for our racing program.  However, Querido showed loads of heart and stamina during his months of race training and in his works.  He is destined to become an excellent endurance horse for the serious endurance competitor.

Mint is a full-bodied, tall filly (15"1') full of heart and all about her business at the racetrack. She has an exceptionally long length of stride and effortless way of going. She literally glides over the track.

She has never taken a lame step although as a yearling she suffered a severe cut to her back left hind requiring surgery. As our vet told us then, it would be hard to believe but the injury would never affect her soundness. And after many months of race training and several months of racing, we believe him; she was never lame. She is completely sound.

Mint favors her sire as does her past pasture-mate, Grade I stakes winner, Love Me Dew, yet Mint is bigger. Bred to be a racehorse, if a new owner wanted to show her in dressage, she would be exceptional. Mint is an elegant, graceful powerhouse!

This mare is a great example of Dreamfield bred racehorses who go on to establish themselves in a second great career.

All is well now but the decision was made to give him more time off . He continues to show us signs he is not finished growing yet at 151.

He inherited his sire's short back and strong hind-end in addition to the famous *Wiking confidence.

Chief's size and calm disposition came from his French-bred dam.

His dam, AER Volitile 2/14(1-0-2-4)0-1 is a lovely chestnut mare over 15 hands. She ran at Los Alamitos in California and Sam Houston Race Park in Texas . She was a winner and stakes placed with a 3rd in the Cre-Run California Oaks. This stout 2002 black and white Overo registered Paint mare is all business.  She has competed in both roping and cutting competitions locally with our trainers.  We bought "Bonita" for a half-arabian cross with our stallion, SANTANA HF, and she gave us a strong and stout colt who will be pursuing a reining career. 

Bonita is by PSL Willie (QH) whose sire Poco San Lena is a son of Doc O'Lena and out of Miss Peppy Cupie by Peponita.  Bonita's dam is Miss Bolero San (Red/Dun Overo) by Bueno Super San by Bueno Bandit (Palomino Overo).  Bonita's grandam is Boleo's Sissy by Boleo Bar (QH).

She is sound, sound sound.  She has excellent confirmation and even though she is 14"1" she is a "big" mare.
